
Associate Attorney
Julia Bockman focuses her practice on construction law and government contracts. She brings more than a decade of experience in the commercial construction industry, offering clients a practical, first‑hand perspective on the legal and business issues that arise throughout the lifecycle of a project.
Julia takes a deliberate and detail‑oriented approach to her work, with a strong focus on accountability, follow‑through, and achieving meaningful results for her clients. Her background allows her to approach legal issues with a clear understanding of the operational and contractual challenges that commonly drive disputes in both public and private construction projects.
Her experience includes cost estimating, contract administration, subcontractor negotiations, and risk management. In addition to her legal practice, Julia serves as a Senior Manager of Preconstruction and Contract Strategy, where she advises on cost planning, procurement strategy, and contract alignment.
Julia earned her J.D., cum laude, from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. During law school, she developed her advocacy skills as a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team and her writing skills as an editor for the Journal of Law and Technology.
